Opowieść o ikonie Chrome
Google Chrome has emerged victorious from the hotly contested Battle of the Browsers. It is today’s most popular web browser—moving past Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Opera. Google Chrome first entered the battlefield in 2008. It was initially released as a beta and had quite a rocky start. At that time, it was Internet Explorer who led the pack. (We can’t believe it either.) The Google Chrome beta had stability issues and was not performing as well as its developers had hoped. These issues were immediately remedied; Google made several overhauls to build Chrome as we know it today—a fast, no-fuss browser. Considering all the years we tried to load websites using IE, Google Chrome was nothing less than heaven sent.
Google Chrome’s original logo had an uncanny resemblance to a Pokéball; it was a three-dimensional orb that had Google’s standard colors: red, green, yellow, and blue.
The logo today is a simpler, two-dimensional version of its precursor. It looks cleaner and lighter, much like the features of Google Chrome itself.
If ever you need them, we also have icons for the following web browsers:
